PUBLIC COMMENT ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS:

This is an opportunity for the Public to offer comments related to issues that are not currently on the agenda that the council has jurisdiction over, limited to 3 minutes.

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Each new agenda item will be introduced by the Mayor (or assigned liaison) with a description of the item and explanation for the recommended action. Following council discussion on each item will be an opportunity for public comment (prior to any action taken). Public comment is limited to agenda item being discussed (limit to 3 minutes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Darryl Pfeifer, Event Chairman, Libby Elks Lodge request for a street closure, sound variance and open container variance for a Cornhole Fundraiser Tournament Saturday, September 22 ,2018.
  • Closing West 4th Street from California to Main from 8 am to 6pm.
  • Request open containers are allowed inside a temporary fenced enclosure.
  • Sound variance for outside music during the event.

 

  1. Rod Beall and Sherri Roberts, VFW, request the Ponderosa Room and Fred Brown Pavilion for no fee and use of the Riverfront Park and the Parking lot on Thursday, June 13th to the afternoon of Saturday, June 15th, 2019.

 

  1. Mike Cirian update on the EPA.

 

  1. Susie Rice Kootenai Cross Country Ski Club

 

  1. Appoint Police Commissioners.

 

  1. Approve the building committee’s recommended changes for the Ponderosa Room Fee Rates.

 

  1. Approve the water and sewer committee’s recommendation for the $9.40 credit.

 

  1. Approve Fire Restrictions.

 

  1. Approve Ordinance 1922-An ordinance amending title 7 animals of the official code in the City if Libby, regulating urban chickens within the corporate limits of the city if Libby Montana. SECOND READING

 

  1. Approve new business licenses received.
  • Martin’s Mobile Repair-218 Voves Ave, Libby Mobile small engine and auto repair.
  • Trinity Drywall and Repair LLC-87 Woodland Ave, Libby-Drywall service for new, addons and repairs for residential and commercial properties.
  • Urdahl Contracting and Services-257 Parkway Dr., Libby-Construction, landscaping.

 

  1. Approve renewal business licenses received to date.

 

  1. Approve claims and payroll for July 2018.

GENERAL COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL

ADJOURNMENT:

 

The manner of Addressing Council:

 

  1. Each person, not a Council member shall address the Council, at the time designated in the agenda or as directed by the Council, by stepping to the podium or microphone, giving that person’s name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record, unless further time is granted by the Council, shall limit the address to the Council to three minutes.
  2. All remarks shall be addressed to the Council as a body and not to any member of the Council or Staff.
  3. No person, other than the Council and the person having the floor, shall be permitted to enter into any discussion either directly or through a member of the Council, without the permission of the Presiding Officer.
  4. No questions shall be asked of individuals except through the Presiding Officer.
  5. Any person making personal, impertinent or slanderous remarks or who shall become boisterous or disruptive during the council meeting shall be forthwith barred from further presentation to the council by the presiding officer unless permission to continue by granted by majority vote of the council.                         Posted 8-2-18
