PUBLIC COMMENT ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS:

This is an opportunity for the Public to offer comments related to issues that are not currently on the agenda that the council has jurisdiction over, limited to 3 minutes.

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Each new agenda item will be introduced by the Mayor (or assigned liaison) with a description of the item and explanation for the recommended action. Following council discussion on each item will be an opportunity for public comment (prior to any action taken). Public comment is limited to agenda item being discussed (limit to 3 minutes

 

 

 

  1. Appoint Police Commission.
  • Bonnie See

 

  1. Jill Beach, Glacier Bank, requesting permission to close the following intersections for the Paint It Pink Run and Half Marathon on September 29th. The run will begin at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center at 8:00 am and will end at Glacier Bank at 11:00 am.

 

Closing the following intersections on the Glacier Bank side of California.

  • California Ave and E 6th.
  • California Ave and E 5th.
  • California and E 4th.
  • California and E 3rd.

 

  1. Resolution 1923-A resolution requesting distribution of Bridge and Road Safety and Accountability Program Funds.

 

  1. Approve the Preliminary budget for FY-19

 

  1. Approve new business licenses received.
  • KG&T Septic Inc.-172 Sunrise Rd Bonners ferry Id-Sewer and water line installations.

 

  1. Approve renewal business licenses received to date.

 

Unfinished Business:

 

  • Kootenai Cross Country Ski Club, $15,000 funding request for a Visitor/Event Center.

 

  • Libby Web Site Re-Design. (web design committee)

 

  • Council Rules and Procedures (council president)

 

GENERAL COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL

ADJOURNMENT:

 

The manner of Addressing Council:

 

  1. Each person, not a Council member shall address the Council, at the time designated in the agenda or as directed by the Council, by stepping to the podium or microphone, giving that person’s name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record, unless further time is granted by the Council, shall limit the address to the Council to three minutes.
  2. All remarks shall be addressed to the Council as a body and not to any member of the Council or Staff.
  3. No person, other than the Council and the person having the floor, shall be permitted to enter into any discussion either directly or through a member of the Council, without the permission of the Presiding Officer.
  4. No questions shall be asked of individuals except through the Presiding Officer.
  5. Any person making personal, impertinent or slanderous remarks or who shall become boisterous or disruptive during the council meeting shall be forthwith barred from further presentation to the council by the presiding officer unless permission to continue by granted by majority vote of the council.                         Posted 8-16-18
