JOB: WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR
DEPARTMENT: STREETS
Wages: $20.37 – $24.43 DEPENDING ON MUNICIPAL EXPERIENCE
The above posted position will fill the vacancy of a full-time Wastewater Plant Operator. The position requires the applicant to have, or pass, the Montana certification to be a Class 1-C wastewater operator within 3 years. A $1.70+/- per hour raise is earned upon certification. The benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision coverage, 120 hours of annual paid vacation, 96 hours of annual paid sick time, annual pay raises averaging 3%, and retirement options through the Montana Public Employee Retirement System with 17% of gross wages invested. Wages: $12.00 to $15.00 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
The above posted position will fill a vacancy for the Streets/Parks and Cemetery Departments maintaining the city’s parks and cemetery by mowing and weed eating. The job will be for 960 hours from April through September. The benefits include paid vacation after the first season, annual paid sick time available after 3 months, and paid days off for State recognized Federal Holidays. The above posted position will fill the vacancy of a full-time City Water Distribution Operator who will help Libby maintain and improve water mains, water meters, sprinkler systems and more. If you’re worried about already having to know everything about plumbing to be hired, don’t. Applicants need basic understandings in plumbing and using simple electronics to start. The position requires the applicant to have, or pass, the Montana certification to be a Water Distribution Operator within 3 years. A $1.75 +/- per hour raise is earned upon certification. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision coverage, 120 hours of annual paid vacation, 96 hours of annual paid sick time, annual pay raises averaging 2.5%, and retirement options through the Montana Public Employee Retirement System with 16.97% of gross wages invested.
