The City of Libby will hold a public hearing on July 6, 2020 at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers – City Hall. The purpose of the Public is to present the final Preliminary Engineering Report and the recommended wastewater system improvements. The Environmental Checklist, Environmental Review Form, and Environmental Determination will also be discussed.
The City of Libby is accepting public comment regarding the environmental impacts of the proposed wastewater system improvements. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed project and its environmental impacts. Persons or their agents may appear in person or send written comments to Jim Hammons no later than June 29, 2020.
Received public comments will be used in preparation of grant and loan applications for the recommended project. The Uniform Environmental Checklist has been prepared and is available for public review on the City’s website or from the City upon request.
